Fashion is a problem. The industry's systemic design was built, not upon sustainable and ethical values, but on mass, cheap, and exploitative practices. We’re only now starting to see changes in the way brands operate.
However, there aren’t too many comprehensive resources out there that give consumers education, inspiration, and empowerment to be more sustainable and ethical in their fashion choices.
This was the catalyst behind V’LE Magazine, an educational resource promoting sustainable and ethical fashion. On the website, you’ll find an extensive catalog of blog posts and articles all based on the theme of sustainability, and you’ll also find information on sustainable fashion brands. So far they are featuring six fashion brands that are sustainable in their operation.
This magazine is in its infancy, but already we’re seeing so much value and information for the budding conscious consumer.
