SINGLA

Updated: Apr 27

If you're a conscious consumer, then it’s likely you know just how terrible the fashion industry is for the environment. With excessive textile waste, enormous amounts of carbon emissions and pollution, and problems with worker exploitation, fashion brands have been under immense scrutiny in recent years.

Fortunately, we’re seeing an increase in upcycling and thrifting fashion, like vintage denim and handbags. But what about clothing that’s unsuitable for thrifting, such as your undergarments? It’s unlikely that anyone would purchase an old thong or brassiere to wear. Yet intimate fashion still faces the same sustainable and ethical challenges.

If you’re looking for a way to make a positive impact on the environment while still feeling stylish and comfortable in your intimates, then SINGLA might be the answer for you. SINGLA was founded by Rubaina, a fashion lover who worked for well-respected luxury fashion brands.

After working for years in the industry, Rubaina discovered firsthand the ugly truth about the fashion industry and decided to change careers. She wanted to make an impact in the fashion industry by leveraging her extensive experience in fashion while making positive change. While working for a sustainable tech company, she launched her brand, SINGLA.

SINGLA uses upcycled and recycled fabrics, like recycled elastane and polyamide, to make their undergarments. The fabrics are carefully chosen for their durability, comfort, and environmental benefits, so you can feel good about wearing their intimates for years to come.

When buying from conscious brands like SINGLA, you're not just buying a product, you're supporting a more sustainable future for the fashion industry. By choosing to support sustainable brands, you're sending a message to the fashion industry that you care about the environment and want to see change. With your help, we can create a more sustainable and equitable fashion industry for everyone.
